Cookie and localStorage are different things
A cookie is a small value that the browser sends to our server when making requests to the site. The session cookie helps you know what game progress to download. The balance itself and the results are located on the server, and not inside the cookie.
localStorage stores settings in the browser. Its contents are not sent automatically with requests. LODOUT DROP uses it for theme, favorites and accumulation purpose; these settings are not associated with the Roblox account.
What exactly is saved
| Storage | Purpose | Deadline |
|---|---|---|
PHPSESSIDSite Cookie | Random server session ID: balance, results, badges and previous collection. Required to save the game. | 30 days for cookies. Clearing a server session also depends on the hosting. |
beast-drop-themelocalStorage | Selected light or dark theme. | Before changing or clearing your browser data. |
beast-drop-favoriteslocalStorage | Favorite Item IDs. | Before deleting your favorites or clearing your browser data. |
beast-drop-goallocalStorage | The selected item for which you save tokens. | Before changing the target or clearing your browser data. |
lodout_locale | Remembers your language choice separately from the game session. | 1 year; renewed when you choose another language. |
On a narrow screen, the table can be scrolled horizontally.
The names of local keys were saved from an earlier version of the project so that updating the design and name does not delete your settings. The site does not set separate analytics, advertising and marketing profile cookies.
Session cookie
Standard cookie name is PHPSESSID. It is created when opening the main page or game APIs. Document pages do not start a game session or set this cookie on their own.
Cookie has flag HttpOnly: JavaScript page cannot read its value. Used SameSite=Lax; for a direct HTTPS connection defined by the server, Secure is enabled. These parameters reduce the risks of accessing the session, but do not replace a secure connection and correct hosting configuration.
In the application, the cookie duration and acceptable server session inactivity are set to 30 days. Hosting tweaks and cleanups can reduce actual storage time. Closing the browser window does not, in itself, necessarily delete this cookie.
Your language choice is stored in the lodout_locale cookie for one year. You can change it in the header. Switching languages preserves your game progress.
External resources
The font, styles and game scripts are in the project; they do not require the connection of Google Fonts, advertising or analytical services. Catalog images are loaded from CDN Roblox and trigger external network requests.
When you switch to Roblox, the browser works with cookies and the settings of Roblox itself. We don't read or manage them. More details in section on external resources our policy and policy Roblox.
How to clear or prohibit storage
- Open your browser's privacy settings and look for cookies or site data.
- Select the address where LODOUT DROP is open and delete its cookies and local data.
- If necessary, specifically disable cookies or local storage for this address. The names of the items depend on the browser.
To delete only favorites, open “About the project and data” on the main page and click “Clear favorites.” This will not delete tokens, badges, or the server collection.
Deleting a cookie breaks the connection with the previous session, but does not guarantee immediate deletion of its server copy. For questions about server data, write to info@lodout.drop. Do not send the cookie value in the email.
What will change after blocking
Without cookies, the server will not be able to reliably link game actions and save progress between requests. Without localStorage, settings can only work until the page is closed or reloaded. In private mode, the browser can delete them after the session ends.
The catalogue, rules and documents remain available. Storage questions: info@lodout.drop. Additional information - in privacy policy.
